Hurray! You've decided to book with me! Here is a breakdown of what you can expect leading up to, during, and following your session with me!

 

What are the details?

 

 

Number of photos

 

​As much as I try to avoid limiting myself, photo retouching can become very time consuming. Due to this fact, the amount of photos included is limited to 25 high resolution, retouched images.


​


However, this is my passion in life and I am a firm believer in my work. If I LOVE the photos, I want them to be out in the world, and there may be a few bonus images included!

All sessions booked will be a minimum of one hour. We may go over, depending on if we feel the right moments were captured, with a maximum time of two and a half hours.



Having this flexibility in our time ensures that we capture the vision you’re looking for!

At my core, I believe in body positivity and embracing our flaws and little imperfections. So my default editing style does not include skin retouching or smoothing. However, I absolutely understand everyone's comfort levels are different. So I offer these services with an added compensation for the time it takes to edit.


For an additional $100 this process can be added to my editing time.

 

Tips on what to wear

​I am open to doing up to three outfit changes during our time! I provide a pop up changing tent for location sessions as needed.


Need suggestions?


  • Generally, it's a good idea to avoid any logos- especially large ones- as this can distract from the star of the session: YOU!
  • Unless it's the vibe of your session, I would say avoid any baseball hats as they can cause uneven shadows in the photos.
  • I typically recommend coming in one outfit that you feel most confident and comfortable in, to start our time with a laid back vibe to better ease into the session. To provide a wider variety of photos, you're welcome and encouraged to bring a more formal or fun outfit to change into later in the session.
  • It is my goal to capture your ideas and vision with my lens, so these suggestions are just that! If you have any styles or vibes in mind, it is my priority to work collaboratively to achieve your perfect session!

 

Session Timeline


​Place Booking Inquiry


  • $100 retainer fee, applied to overall investment into the session
  • We will arrange a time and place for initial consultation 
  • This is where we will get to know each other and discuss your goals and expectation of the session along with overall vibes you are trying to achieve 
  • Once it’s confirmed that you feel we are a good fit, agreement paperwork will be sent and once signed we will set a session day and time


Session Day


  • We will meet at the agreed upon location and start our time! (note if multiple locations are agreed upon, travel time is not counted towards overall session time)


Editing Process


  • Over the next few days I will process phase one of my edits. This process will typically take between 2 to 3 business days. During this time I am eliminating any unusable images and refining the selection to the best options. 
  • Once phase one has been completed, I will reach out so that we can arrange another meeting. This is where we will review the images that have passed my rigorous quality assurance standards and you will be able to select your top 25 that will be processed through my final editing phases. 
  • Phase two and three of the editing process
  • These steps are where it can become time consuming. To summarize these phases; I will be removing unwanted items in the background, adjusting the lighting and evening out shadows, along with ensuring that each image has passed my strict standards for the quality of my work. Any previous stylization edits and skin retouching requests will also be applied during this time.
  • Estimated turnaround time for this step is between 5 and 7 days depending on the types of edits agreed upon.
